Below are a selection of beautiful, considered spaces. For me these are successful as there is balance - a mix of materials, colour/tone added to a more neutral backdrop, classic simple shapes and enough negative space to make everything sing. If in doubt keep it simple and err towards clean lines and classic shapes that have and will endure.

Let’s face it I imagine most of us have some painful memories and photographic evidence of trends gone by that we’d rather forget (see below, not me btw!) 😂. Whilst I believe trends are often light-hearted, frivolous & fun, when it comes to interiors I would apply caution when buying into them. Why?

Spring, my favourite season; the beginning of longer, brighter days, the promise of warmer temperatures, the unexpected swathes of vibrant spring blooms, and that fresh scent that hangs in the air. Spring is the time to open the windows, let in the light and maybe dust the top of the wardrobe?

Style - What is it? I don’t believe that everyone knows what their style is. Some may not have given it much thought, perhaps style isn’t particularly important to them. For others, style plays a huge part in their life - it is how they want the world to see them and the messages that particular style conveys. Style can be communicated in many ways including clothes, music, make up and interiors. It reflects who we are or who we want to be.
